Hi folks

Yesterday, my indicators stopped auto-cancelling after turning left or right (had to cancel them with the stalk).

Trawling through forums I gather that the problem could be down to a plastic lug in the stalk (which is 'nudged' as the steering wheel returns to the centre position) being damaged or broken.

So a new stalk would seem to be a good place to start.

The dealer who is fitting a new stalk later this week has told me that it could be the dreaded CIM. I just hope replacing the stalk cures it.

I plugged in OPCOM and got the following DTC codes:-

U2105 - CANBUS ECM*Message Range/Performance Error (CIM Error)

B1020 - SRS Steering Angle Sensor Signal Circuit Range/Performance Error (EHPS Error)

Clearly the above Errors would appear to point to the CIM and/or the Steering Angle Sensor.

I wonder whether the above errors have been caused by the failure of the Indicators to self-cancel.

Any comments/suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.
