    Default HID Warning cancelling 55W?

Just a quick question about fitting HID's and associated bulb failure warnings.

I was of the understanding that if you fit a 35W HID kit without the additional warning cancellers, that you will get the warning because the bulb failure circuit detects a lower than normal current (Standard 55W halogen bulbs)?

If this is true, would a set of 55W HID's be ok to fit without the warning cancellers and not trip the bulb failure circuit due to the expected current flowing?

Just thought I'd ask this because I'm looking to fit a 55W 6K HID kit and need to know for sure if I have to buy a pair of warning cancellers to go with it?

    Many thanks,

    Phil

Cheers mate, that is more or less what I was hoping for.

I'm going to order up a set of 55W 6k or 8k (Undecided about that now)and hope they'll not give me bulb warnings .

I can always get some warning cancellers afterwards if required.

I am also thinking of fitting a set of 8000k 55w hids to my veccy, but i have angel eyes fitted and the rings are of a yellowish colour.Does anyone know how i can get the rings a whiter light before i fit the hids as i don`t think it would look right otherwise.

if the rings are LED's then u could just swop the LED. if they are from the sidelight bulbs u could just get some ultra white ones
