done mine last year, started to do it again now though, so looking like i will have to replace it
Just did this, worked for me. Guess I'll see how long it lasts before it needs replacing.

Worked for me too. Did it 6-7 months ago, no problems so far. Good trick, some work to do, not so much, need a little bit of extra-attention, but it worth it!

Yea it's a nice little trick. Essentially extends the lifespan so you can get some more use out of it before replacing.

I've rotated mine twice... somehow this fix keeps working so IMO it's the design that causes the thing to make that noise... turn it back around when it happens again you'll notice it will go away again.

Oh damn, my rear spring's a bit corroded so I'll remember that one. I've thought about lowering it but I was using my car for deliveries and 100% needed the extra suspension. Got it stuck down here actually image13.jpg
Maybe if it was lowered I might not have been so stupid to attempt it.
