did u follow this press both together
unlock all doors and boot with one press of remote key.

1, Sit in the driver’s seat with the doors shut and keys in hand.

2, Press and hold the UNLOCK button on your remote key + simultaneously pressing the door lock button on your drivers door.

3' Keep pressing for around 10 seconds until your a faint SINGLE beep.

    4, Test for activation

Yeh, I did that, didn't hear a beep and didn't expect the windows to go down. Should they do that?

If you just press and hold the unlock button on your fob they do. If you do the reverse press the lock button and hold it they will go up.
