Antifreeze in CDTI 150

Is it OK to top up with a different antifreeze to the one that is currently in the system.

The colour in my header tank is Orange.

The reason for asking is that I am losing a small amount of coolant and needs topping up.

Go to Vauxhall its about a £5 for a liter of concentrate, you dilute with water 50:50.

Aslong as its red OAT you'll be fine.

i say red as but it varies between, orange and red an pink by who manufactures it

Don't by any means mix blue or green with it or it may just turn to sludge

Its all about the anti corrosion properties, do not mix different kinds of antifreeze, OAT only in the Vec.

Mine has a dark colour in... Do I need to replace it???

It should be a nice orange or pinkish orange colour, if its not id get flushing and change it.

What quantity of coolant is in a Vectra 1,9CDTi?
