At the moment, from income purely from new members subbing for the how2's its still covering about 70% of the server costs sat down and checked the figures over the other day), as long as the subs cover about 50% of it I can maintain the rest of the costs ok.

Maybe we should stop helping those who have recently joined or in the time of membership never contributed until they have at least signed up for a year? I would think around £10 for someone who we have never interacted with is nothing for them to get years worth of advice if they couldn't already find it by looking about.
