Default What 4 years on Vectra C does for you....

Well this is 4 years I’ve been on this forum. I bought the car in January 2007. Car started off as a Stand Elite Vectra 1.9 CDTI 150. Never knew of modding and always thought in my ignorance it was something that was done to we 1ltr hatchback superminis – how I got that wrong . This was what it was like when I bought her (apart from debadge on some ):

Now 4 and half years of ownership and with 4 of those being on this site she now looks:

    Exterior Modifications
SRI rear bumper, VXR rear valance, Twin Exit VXR replica Exhaust tail pipes, 19” Snowflake Alloy wheels, Colour coded side skirts, moulded mudflaps, front splitter, front SRI bumper, Signum fog surrounds, Irmscher Grille, Wind deflectors, VXR Rear lip spoiler, Angel Eye headlights, SRI Read headlights.

    Interior Modifications

    SMD Conversion, Kenwood radio

    Suspension and Engine Modifications

Eibach Lowering Springs, EGR valve blanked off, Throttle plate removed, Air box mod.

Mods to come thanks to this site - K&N Panel filter, Decat, Remap, Eibach Shocks. Possibly more.

But more importantly it's more a Thank You to all who have made owning this car - especially the 1.9 CDTI 150 easy. Thanks to this site for help and where to turn when the car played up. Thank you also for the How 2's and the aprt numbers to make obtaining parts easier. And cheers most of all for the banter.

    Cheers,

    Gary

This site is great for helping each other. I came to this site with limited knowledge. I've learnt a lot, and helped others a lot too, and made new friends.

    Well done Vectra-c.com

Yeah the guys who fixed the car had a laugh too that weekend. Except it said 'Fix me' next to the 'Wash me' comments.
