Sorry, I dont want to sound rude, but this has been done to death on here, please use the search function.
Final final final answer most people have been getting away with them
but i think that you should have headlamp washers as well
Thanks for the reply,And sorry, i am new to the forum and still finding my way around. Will try not to ask any more silly questions.Cheers
Took me a while to take the plunge, wishing I hadn't as turned out one of the ballasts was faulty. Bought from china so whole lot stripped back out and waiting on replacement. The one that worked looked mint though, 5000k 55w nice white colour.
Its not a case of asking silly questions, just try to use the search button first. HIDS and their legalities have probably been discussed more than "Which oil do I need" or "Which Tyres should I buy", and as for that god awful never ending word thread, well lets just not go there......
Depends on the garage.
My sons Corsa C failed for them being fitted Friday.
So normal bulbs fitted to get the pass and HID's fitted back in today![]()
Not at all. The garage were right to fail them, unless he's changed the factory fitted headlights for projector lense type ones?
HIDs in plain lenses are darn right dangerous for oncoming traffic. Even if they have the so called "safe" R type HID bulbs. The light is still scattered all over the place.
HIDs and projector lenses = YES
HIDs and plain glass = NO
Anyway, what was the reason given for the fail?
Its a facelift Corsa C so yes they are in projector lights but as they dont self level or have high pressure washer jets they fail.
