    Default help needed shudders comeing up through steering wheel

    hi guys i recently put new steering rack in my vec not long after putting it in im getting wild shudders through my steering wheel anything over 50mph i was told it was my wheels and tried 3 different wheels and it tll der cud it be a dry joint or wud it be dwn to the steering rack

    Seems a bit strange this is happening after a new rack has been fitted, although it could be coincidence.

    Tech2 or opcom the EHPS and CIM, if no faults are found and live data is fine, check tyre balance/pressures/CV's etc.

    Ya I'm to check my cv joints to see if they dried out can't think of anything else my flywheel is gone wud this hav any affect

    mine is ok up to 50 and then im like a human vibretor steering rack go mental

    sounds like wheel balancing to me. have you changed tyres recently?

    if so have you swapped fronts to rear and vice versa

    ?

    that works for me

    just an idea,i cleaned my dash last month,pulled steering wheel to get behind it etc,driving that evening,it seemed to be bouncing when i drove,try adjust the lever that adjusts the steering wheel height,worked for me,worth a try anyways
