Anyone work for TNT

Hi I work for TNT at the Glasgow depot, Has anyone heard anything about redundancies?
We were told tonight there will be redundancies.
There was no answer to thew question Who When and Where? I quote " That is all I know" from General manager.

(Steve) Beavis pulls their trailers for them. He gets to Bellshill most nights, he could have heard something.

one of my m8s work at Rotherham depot he was told that there getting rid of most of the agency workers and asking the drivers to do more in the warehouse.

Roughly the same situation at Glasgow, though management are not giving too much info at the moment

work for is getting less and less freight in i think all courier firms etc etc are feeling it now

We are not any quieter but not any more busy. Strange feeling with Xmas only weeks away.

been busy last week but the freight is down ,, going out i mean but stil quite a lot coming in ,, must just be newcastle way ,, we used to send 3 double deck trailers away every night but we are down to 1 double decker and i 18 ton .. truck i dont work for tnt ,, but these ,, www.idh-link.com.. haha dont belive that though

We run a modern fleet of vehicles ranging from small vans to double deck trailers capable of carrying 44 pallets, all of which are in constant communication with our traffic office. All our drivers and warehouse staff are uniformed and undergo regular training programs.

I know who you mean.
It just gets a bit worrying when a company the size of TNT, who are supposed to be really good towards staff ( Investors in People awards ) are going down this road.
