Lower engine tray and covers

While I was changing foglight bulbs tonight on my new VXR noticed there were no plastic covers underneath the engine , previous cdti signum and vectra had these. Is this normal on a VXR or are they missing Any help appreciated as the car has already been back for a battery cover which was also missing .

Thought they were only on the diesels.....

Haven't got one on mine Davie, just a small cover at the bumper, but the sump and everything else is open.

Real engines Davie, you've been driving diesels too long to know what that is

all help's to reduce the noise from a diesel lump iirc
