Massive recall from various car manufacturers(Opel/Vaux included) for airbag related issue

Various car manufacturers(Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroën, Cupra, Dodge, DS, Ferrari, Ford, Honda, Jeep, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen) issued a notice for service recall for airbag related issue (Takata sourced) for some models from 1998 to 2019. Seems like a major malfunction could appear with a potential wrong (and overpowered) firing of the airbag or none when needed.

For Opel/Vaux affected models are:

• ASTRA-H (2007-2011)
• ASTRA-J (2009-2019)
• CASCADA (2014-2017)
• MERIVA-B (2010-2019)
• MOKKA / MOKKA X (2012-2019)
• SIGNUM (2008)
• VECTRA-C (2007-2009)
• ZAFIRA-C (2012-2017)

Customers should promptly address to dealers for inquiry and schedule.
