Default Xenon to AFL & h7 to xenon....... What's needed?

If I wanted to add afl headlights to my vxr to replace the xenon, what would be required?
Secondly to make use of the xenons, how easy is it to retrofit them into her sri? Obviously the headlight washers are needed but as for extra sensors and wiring and whatnot. After using xenonson the vxr, standard bulbs should be bannedI think lol
    Cheers in advance

I think AFL in place of xenons is easy enough, just a spot of programming but the likes of @plasma or @andy.l to name two can advise better.

For or the other half's car, you'll need the level sensors and wiring, as well as replacing the headlight connectors

    @ajcollins2

Or, you might just want to sell the xenons to offset the cost of AFL's and fitting and then just fit an HID kit from the likes of London Colour on ebay. Metal based H7 fittings and you won't need to worry about headlamp washers etc or using outside technical assistance

    A WIN WIN situation

Just something else to think about

All you need is 1 wire adding from pinout no9
passenger side headlamp plug to pinout no9
    drivers side headlamp plug.

If you are using your existing uec fusebox then
pinouts no 6+7 splicing together and connecting to
Existing pinout no 22 to xe2 on uec fusebox then refit a
    higher fuse to a 10amp in f19.

Please note that a highter rated cable of 1.5 is required
from pinout no6 and run it direct to pinout no 22 xe2 uec
Then the existing wure going to the same pinout
No 22 to be spliced into the 1.5 wire

This is safe to do as done it so many times and saves replacing
    Uec The fusebox.
