Best car diagnostic software for MAC or windows

Can anyone recommend me car diagnostic software, which will do the same as xtool PS90.

i have a macbook so ideally i need it for mac, or windows will do i will just need to invest in a windows laptop, as i can exactly carry my pc to my car.

O.c/v.c. for Vauxhall/Opel then abrites commander 2019/20 for most vehicles just not low can.

you do know that macbooks are now running on normal pc hardware right? so all you need to do is make a widows partion on the harddisk and you can install windows on the macbook (make it dual boot)... you might want to look into that as most car software is windows based... alternatively you can always just run windows virtually ... so the money you would spend on a windows laptop is not needed... keep it for your needed software and cable...

Yeah i know, but it is alot of hassle finding drivers and running bootcamp on the mac. it's just easier to get a windows laptop, and no hassle about bootcamp and all that.

Thank you for the response. I think after doing research the xtool PS90 is probably the best option as it is convenient to use and has everything I need on it.

Not convinced as abrites can read pin from V’s and rewrite steering rack vin so you find me a software that can do that apart from sps online.

Are you looking for diagnostics for every car or just the veccy if you have as a good o.c./v.c. will do Vauxhall and some Saab that one you put up is £££’s and you can still do more with o.c/v.c. than that device.

I like it as it is easy to use and understand. I am not a mechanic, I used my mates xtool PS90. Easy to use, pick which make and model car, pick what you want to check, and off you go.

well that will give you a solution for a wide array of cars, it's expensive though compared to the price of a cheap windows laptop and O.C/V.C
- cheap used windows laptop (50 to 150 pounds)
- O.C/V.C clone cable 9 to 40 pounds (software is freely available on the net, just make sure you get a V1.59 or V1.70 cable)

on the otherhand i get you want something that is easy to understand and work with that can be used on more brands than just Vauxhall.. in that case you can't find a better solution other than professional solutions that are 5 to 6 times more expensive.

yeah i figured you only buy something like this once, and your covered for a lot of cars, i can check my sisters cars or my mates cars, not just stuck to vauxhall. and at £40 a pop when you take car for diagnostic, hopefully i can save on that to,
