    It's actually been so boring.

I have been working from home for over 2 weeks now, but in between - on breaks and night time and weekends I have had a little project going on.

I luckily bought some rattle spray cans before the lockdown came about and have been DIY refurbing some alloys.

    Here they are.

They have been very painful to do as there were a fair few nicks and things in there, but im not expecting miracles. Been doing all of it by hand, so pure brute force.

Here is the before, during and after pictures.

I have just run out of spray and forgot to buy some laquer.

I have done two wheels so far, two rubbed, flattened and ready to paint once the new cans and laquer arrive.

Your thoughts and comments welcome as always...

Fitted the resistor looms I made up so I now have LED sidelights. Went to fit angel eye DRL/indicators to the front fogs. Worked fine as DRL's - when I added a line from the indicators I blew the LED's … hmmm

Have got 20 litres of matt white ,was going to get a colour mix for the main wall ,now can't because of covid . Leaves me with 11 weeks now to do the white stuff ,walls ,ceiling woodwork ,radiators etc etc sigh . Then week ends off . might just get it done . ohhh then there's Easter ..

Started painting the house and those diy jobs I’ve been putting off for ages, next on the list is sorting out the garage and toolboxes and probably a few jobs on the cars.

Don't be shooting your loads to early now, this is going to go on for quite some time.

Working from home during the day. Weekend did some messing with the car and fitted a set of anti strobe sidelight looms. Getting really cheesed off though.....

lol I did a few bits i needed to do on the car... but i can do loads more... one of them is repainting the brake calipers, i've put that job off so long i wonder why i haven't done it yet... maybe it's because i hate the fact that i have to jack up every corner and remove the wheels... and they also need some serious tlc aka cleaned on both in - and outside and a respray (OEM SRI wheels so got some curb marks yet again)
