Default Glove box trim broken :(

Does anyone know how easy it is to replace the thin plastic trim that holds the lower 2 screws of the glove box in place.?

I undid the top 3 screws and where the lower 2 screwed into prompt broke (should have undone the lower ones first I know). I have tried to glue the broken bits together but it wont hold very well. I can just stick in a couple of self tapping screws if need be close to the holes. Is is possible without buying loats of dashboard?

I haven't needed to do it on my glovebox side, but I did break a similar section of the dash on the drivers side on my car

In my case I found that a heavy duty cable tie did the job for me, but I only had one mounting point to concern myself with and not 2, also the trim cover under the light switch on the drivers side is much lighter than the glovebox, but worth a try fella and I suspect with a bit of "tweaking" you'll get it to work.

    Good luck in trying mate

I finally managed to fix it by screwing metal banding to each side of the two holes and pushing the yellow screw holders into that. Hopefully as good as before. It feels nice and secure.
