    Default Will i be dissapointed?

Got my eye on a 1.8 elite NAV. Spec wise brilliant car everything i could want and a great price because it is only the 1.8. AFL, climate control you name it its got it.

Will the 1.8 engine dissapoint me? Hopefully current 1.8 owners can advise me on this.

It all comes down to what you want and what is acceptable. to most the Insignia 1.8 will be fine, but if you have ever driven the CDTi 160 then it will probably disappoint as would coming from a Vectra CDTi 150 as the 1.8 does really need to work very hard.

I have driven so many in both flavours the diesel would be my weapon of choice every time I have to admit.

After a 3.2 I would think it might seem a little under powered. Best give it a drive round and see how you feel with it.

I think it might be worth having a test drive and see how it feels.

i have a 1.8 vec and i find it really nice to drive enough power and you dont need to rev its nuts off to go fast , i mean how fast do you want to go , i have no wish to accelerate like a nutter psycho tw@t , no one pulls ways from me in traffic , its not slow its fine , i really dont need 200 bhp and also the amount of modern diesel cars breaking down is astounding , i hate the oil burning clank tanks

Problem is the insignia weighs nearly 2 ton, which is heavier than the vectra and im used to driving a v6. I'll take it for a drive next week and see how it goes.
