Confusing Model Years on Vectra

I'm looking for a Vectra SRi, 150 BHP diesel, got to have the XP pack.

I've looked at a 06 reg which is the old pre-facelift model, can tell by the headlights but I've also seen a 55 reg that is the newer facelift model.

Why would an older car be the facelift model and, apart from the headlight design, are there any more differences?

Basicly the facelift came out on a 55 plate but there are some rare 06 plate pre facelift cars probably just late built cars that got registered late on.

The main difference between the two is front end... facelift cars have different headlights, bumper, wings, wheel designs, slightly less well kitted out though i beleive. Down to personal preference which is better looking, basicly the same car under all the bits though.

It also seems that with the newer headlight versions, the XP pack is limited to side skirts and big wheels.

There doesn't seem to be a rear boot spolier or front/rear lower lip spoilers....

Any thoughts?

XP pack on a facelift car is front spoiler,sideskirts, bigger rear spoiler (sort of hangs over the edge of the boot lip) and usually accompanied by bigger wheels ie 19inch snowflake design

This is what a front xp spoiler looks like, only small but makes a big differnce imo

So what has this car got then, I can see side skirts, bigger alloys but nothing else.....

Thats a standard SRi with bigger wheels

I paid that price for an 05 plate one 2 years ago mate, also with the 19" snowflakes, so that's well overpriced...

I paid less than that for a 56 plate SRi about 6 months ago. Similar milage. Well overpriced mate.
