    Default twin exhausts

Got the backboxes fitted today but not too impressed. They seem to sit lower down from the skirt and the one on the drivers side seems tho stick out more, will post pics later. i think the guy may have made an **** of it tbh

not sure mate thats what i thought. Should have bit the bullit and went to vaux and paid for a new centre pipe and got it done properly but am going to get dealers opinion and go back to the place tomorrow and let rip!! I reckon if i get the proper skirt and it sat up tighter it would be ok but just feel i've ****ed the whole thing up

Graeme, do you want some pics of "factory" to take to the fitter.... If you do I'll go and sort some out.

I'll let you know mate, i have a brochure with pics i think. Serves me right for not going to a dealer as its proper vauxhall back boxes. Mind you still cost me £100. Think i've been done

Once you show them the pictures of what the job should look like, they'll have to sort it out for you.

mate, the pic underneath of the pipes, thats shocking!!! the weld has been spittinga ll over the place. they should have ground it off and started again.

And why use staright pipe? do they not have a bender? The pipe from the split to the backbox is just a straight peice. The joint between the split and the straight pipe is at an angle too, so thats not the best for producinga smooth flow of gasses. I'd take it straight back, tell them if they are happy with it, your going to get it independently inspected by a trading standard approved garage and get take it further.
