    Default Current Vectra Prices.....

    Hi all

As i'm currently looking for a Vectra CDTI - possible SRi 150, i'm curious to know what other members think of current prices?

We all know the lack of money around has meant prices have fallen, the vectra is such a mainstream car that there are always a lot around and with the new Insignia being released, prices are sure to fall a bit more.

I'm currently looking at Hatchbacks and estates, 54-55 reg, 40-50k and i've seen them priced from 4500-6000 approx.

Anyone got any views on what i should be looking to pay? Are there any traders on here?

    All views, greatfully received.

    Gaz

Put a few details and figures in to here http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/motoring...a+%282002-%29/ and see what your hard earned cash buys you.

I paid £6k for my 150 (05 reg) back in October.

When i look around now they are much cheaper than this which does wind me up a little

i used that site last week... and now used it this week........ and my car is £500 less than it was!!! .... and i have not even picked the car up yet

dont go and rush into buying anything.... theres plenty of motors out there and plenty of people out there eager to sell!

Thanks for the advice. Our only problem with waiting is it means putting more miles on the current car and obviously that loses value as well.

Generally all the cars i find that are reasonably priced and have decent mileage are miles away (usually up north)! But then everytime i email one, they've taken a deposit or sold it that day.

Even for CDTI 150 SRi versions?

I've known lots of people who've had bad experiences at auctions. But then buying privately comes with the same risk i guess.

cant give you a price for a specific model but they are going for nothing at the minute, and many bargains to be had. just do your home work
