Vectra vs ?

Since having bsr stage 2 fitted to my car, i've wanted to know how my car compares to other makes and models.
I was lucky enough to take on a Seat Leon fsi 197 bhp, the same engine thats in the Golf gti, when he tried to pull away i caught up suprisingly quick.
Has anybody taken on cars that they thought they would have never been able to beat before tuning there car? if so what?

What does stage 2 on the 2.0T push out, I would have thought it would be a good bit faster than the FSI on stage1 even though the vec is heavier.

So stage 2 should kill it even easier.

S1 is around 205bhp (BSR's conservative figures) and S2 was (as it's not supplied any more) only a smidge more as it was only a different air filter and cat back exhaust? (from memory). I think it gave another 10bhp. So it still should be 215+

Nice one. I'm off to the fast show at Santapod on the 21 and 22nd of March with my mates, and we're havin a blast down the strip. So i'll be going up against a clio 1.8 16v, fiesta st, civic type r, and a leon cupra r. I reckon the civic type r is the car to beat cos it's so light. So i should get a good idea of how my car is

If you all launch well then the Seat (if it's the new one) should be 1st, the Type-R would be 2nd, yourself 3rd and then the Fiesta, but will defo be a fun day for you.

the leon is the cupra r 225. I'm really looking forward to the weekend. They would be gripped if they lost to a Vectra.

My Stage 1 remapped 2.0T is pushing out over 220bhp, so anything with a standard VW group 2.0 TSI engine is fair game, not to mention a fair collection of Mercs and Beemers. Apart from the power you have what really makes the difference is the increased torque and the fact that the engine pulls like a train with no discernible turbo lag. And if you can get it, use Tesco 99 ron super unleaded, it really does make a difference.
