Standardization?

Following my threads in the 'part numbers' and 'wanted' sections, I thought I'd share this.

For anyone that missed it, I've accidentally remodelled the front end of my Signum and what I wanted to do was ask the bodyshop to source SRi grilles instead of the standard Signum ones. So I checked with my local dealer this morning, and saw for myself on the computer there - ALL facelift grilles are now the crosshatch style.

In the exploded view of the front end there is only one option for the plastic part behind the chrome V grille. The Signums, for definite, all had different grilles with horizontal bars instead of the crosshatch, and I thought the lower spec Vectras had something similar too.

Either I was wrong or they're cutting back on the part supply now that the Insignia's been launched!

Waiting to get my subscription to EPC sorted out, once thats done i can check out the latest parts for ya... I need to contact GSi3.2 first though..
