sure i have read in another thread that they plug straight in with no erorrs but when a problem occors it wont work properly in conjuction with the new clocks
think thats right
I just put 2.2 Diesel clocks into a 1.8L petrol as i wanted the chrome rings... and bingo... jobs a goodun
Were they hard 2 fit?
they are a doddle, lower the steering wheel and pull out. Take off siler dash trim both sides of the wheel, Pull the trim at the bottom of the clocks. Two torx screws at the bottom of clocks, lower clocks and pull out remembering to undo the plug.
Think there is a how2 on the site.
I think i`d rather get some-one else to do it,i think my nerves would be shattered trying to do this.
It really is VERY easy mate BUT if you don't feel happy doing it then get somebody else to do it.
I probably wudn`t attempt it,do you think it is a worth while mod, considering that if a problem crops up it wont show up on the clocks.
you could just change the fronts of the clocks! That will scare you though, look at the how2, it's on youtube too!
hi m8 you will loose some functions
i lost the seat belt warning and next service light/due.
very easy to fit m8
pull of the strips over the light switch and the one above the glove box.
pull steering wheel towards you and down as far as it will go.
ease out the cover thats at the bottom of the clocks and pull towards you.
undo the 2 torx screws at the bottom of the clocks.
pull clocks out untill it free and face clocks down.
undo the plug on back
it has a black lever on it pull it down (you need to hold down a plastic lug that holds the lever in position first)
remove clocks and replace.
10mins at the most m8
