Hi all. Mart from Paignton, torbay. Just joined up for a bit of a graze on the info about my prospective new car. Found out little which is reassuring lol. Looking forward to moving on from a Vectra B and hoping for a tidy C to compliment the driveway. We'll see!

Going to see if I get replies to the other post now, I need serious help

Welcome to the site. The Vectra C is a very nice car. You should enjoy yours when you get one. Are you after a petrol or a diesel.

Paignton, nice place for a holiday. Went back this year after about 10 years, still the same old high street and harbour. Does nothing change?

I am not sure. I have heard scary things about the diesel, which worries me. I spend most of my time mooching about in touristy traffic so the economics of a diesel make sense. My current 2.0 Vectra B has never exceeded 20mpg.

Hi Mart welcome, the site is a very friendly place. I'm orginally from Maesteg and back in the late 90's there used to be a train service from Maesteg to Paington....

I finally managed to haggle a good ish deal for my Vec C.

Im only just down the road too in Sunnier Plymouth!!!!

Sun is shining here. I just looked out and can see a big ship too! Must be good signs? EVERY time I go to Plymouth it rains, or snows if I am fishing lol. I went to Exeter yesterday to thrash out a deal and walked away after the numpty salesman was not budging telling me he was doing me a favour selling me the car. Not buying local to torbay, major rip off area.

i bought mine from Evan Halshaws in Plymouth.. cheap motors tbh.... and VERY eager to sell.

It could be worth a look!

I was there for 4 hours and haggled out a deal i was happy with.
