    Default mods today

    Hi
    did a few mods today no pics yet but i have done the following

    taken badges of the back and sides

    fitted alloy pins.

    couple of questions.

    1. i can still see a faint outline of the badge whats best to use to remove this.

    2 the rear door pins long longer than the front. how can i sort this

    1. i used autosol on the chrome strip and t-cut on the boot

    2. i belive roy on here had the same problem so he cut the metal rod down a bit

    1. I used hot water and plenty of elbow grease, then polished up with MER

    2. I cut my rear pins , took about 1/2 inch of them

    I diluilted a bit of white spirit on old rag then buffed with a clear liquid polish

    i used meguirs clay and detailers works a treat...and polished with nxt meguires ...post some pics mate when your done as i want to do the same on my dads veccy

    on the pins, if i remember right. you could adjust them just undo the grub screw and alter to suit others.

    I used clay on mine and for the pins got out the saw
