Work mate has just bought an 08 plate sri. He's looking to buy a set of mudflaps for it, am i right in thinking that he'll need to buy the PRE-facelift ones to fit on his facelift sri?

Work mate has just bought an 08 plate sri. He's looking to buy a set of mudflaps for it, am i right in thinking that he'll need to buy the PRE-facelift ones to fit on his facelift sri?
Not sure with that one, when I fitted my mudflaps, I just got a set for a Signum "Design". The rear half is a Pre-facelift the front is now a Facelift... But I never mentioned to VX that I had facelifted the car when they asked for the reg. So guess they gave me Pre-Facelift parts.
I'm certain he'll need the pre facelift mudflaps but i'm just looking for confirmation before i tell him to buy them. I had them on my facelift about a year ago but colour coded them then took them off when the paint flaked off them and threw them in the bin.
Are they not just same since it was only they front that changed or did size or the arches change as well ?
one of the lads in work had a similar problem... it's to do with the sri, the side skirts prevent them to fit..??
no problem on mine like !as i aint got a sri! lol

but i'm certain i have seen sri's with them on, facelift ones too!
Better with them off as you can kick sand in your opo's face lol
I'm certain the mudflaps for the facelift vectras don't fit the facelift sri's but the mudflaps for the pre-facelift vectras fit the facelift sri's. Am i right though?

Yes correct 100% - he'll need pre facelift ones..
I bought some FL ones for my FL and they were extremely ill fitting - until I changed them for PFL :-)
One question, is it an XP model? If so noether will fit. If it is an XP, he will need MK3 Cavalier mudflaps.
