    Default Power steering top up??

    As its says folk please, could anyone tell me where the resevoir is on a 1.8 petrol 52 plate??
    I recently had the warning light for it come on but only when i accelerate hard up a hill on way out of work but at ony this time.
    Had a peek under the bonnet & i cant see where it is, so is it under the cowling over the engine, also what is the best stuff to top up with please??

    It's behind the front bumper, on the drivers side of the car. Use Vx fluid for topping it up

    You can take of the front wheel and remove the arch liner and check the level that way!

    I believe its behimd the drivers side headlight. not an easy job

    Behind front bumper near wheel arch , offside a right barsteward to get at .

    I think its on the drivers side tucked down under the headlight. Use a funnel or some hose or something to top it up without making a complete mess

    OMG!! look like a 2 minute job over the weekend then???

    I shall have to get down stealers in morning then, so is it behind headlight or up under lining??
    Both possibly right but down to what engine i fear??

    Pop the bonnet and have a look down there. You should be able to see the bottle and cap. Just not easy to get too.

    Just been & got the fluid, choice of 4 bottles the lad bought off the shelf & it had to be that last one!!
    £2 0ff with my club card!!

    I come home, only to open the bonnet & find this!!








    who on earth decided that this was the best place to put the rsevoir??

    Its gone dark on me now but was wondering, theres a green panel showing just below the airbox, now if that was detachable, then possibly more access???
