rear electric window installation

Hi, i am attempting to fit electric windows into the rear of my 2.2 SRI, i have both rear regulators motors door wiring harnesses and switches including the drivers switch. the wires seem to be there in the car and the fuses are in place i have conected them up but nothing works except the switches eluminate when i turn the lights on. has anybody attempted to do this before? if so can you help or if you have any suggestions i would be grateful.

hi mate im sure theres a thread about this and sombody has done this but im sure the car has to be tech 2 d to get the car to recognise

Hi mate takes vauxhall about five mins to reprogramme the windows cost me £30 not a bad hourly rate!!!!

Where did you get the parts to do yours, was it from a breaker & how muchdid it cost ya?

got mine as part of a full interior and a few other parts from a salvage yard so not sure how much mate

Ben, i got my set off ebay the bloke was selling a complete leather interior out of an elite and just asked him if he had them and he did, cost me £120.00 for the harnesses window regulators and motors the switches i got with my interior trim, you just have to keep your eyes open on ebay or try around some breakers www.247spares.co.uk is a good one.
