    Default Headlights have gone foggy inside..

    is there anything to cure the above? car has hids fitted and wires have been threaded through the rubber dust cover on the rear of the lamp, has any one else had this problem?

    I think it's quite a common problem and mine do it to an extent when it's really cold & wet, but it soon clears itself.

    I think it was Mark (Gsi3.2) who mentioned he hangs a small silica gel sachet inside his lamps with a paper clip.

    thats a very common thing on e36 bmws some take the covers off the back, some drill a couple of holes in the covers (i did and it worked perfect) and some put the silica gel in there guess they would all work on the vec

    In a word, no.

    Over the last weekend, both my fog lights have misted up and so have the lowers of both factory fit Xenons. I don't worry too much about it as they seem to dry up fast and it only happens once in a while.

    was wondering if it was because of the cuts i mahe in the rubber circles on the back of the headlights to pass the wires thru,i dont think they fogged up b4
