    Default Car Insurance Price Hike?

I paid just over £400 for my GSi - this year one year older (32) and with 3 points.

I cannot find insurance for much under £600 why?

and that is with companies you have never heard of through these price comparison sites.

    Any recommendations?

    Hmm, curious,
I saw a jump in mine at ernewal but then found cheaper else where.

1st year I was 24, 5 years no claims, no points and £1000
Renewal at 25, 6 years no claims and no points was........................ £1000?????

That was Elephant.co.uk, moved to Sainsburys for £479

Try Sainsburys, they were best by £100 for me.

mine went from £400 to £750 , that's with 7 yrs no claims . This is 3rd party f +t , norwich union can't justify to me why there is so much of an increase , so I'm takin my business elsewhere , esure want £580 fully comp with protected no claims , bargain.

not really paid £850 the previous year as i had lost 2 yrs ncb due to a non accident fault and the other driver untraceable. 6 points. so not overpriced imo

Now pay £404 on a 1.8Sri with Alloys declared

Mine also increased this time round, I paid £245 which includes NCP and extra Legal cover. Last year it was £65 less. No accidents, clean licence and 45yrs no claims (okay the maximum then...lol) and the cars only worth a fraction what it was. When I questioned the increase I was informed all companies had made increases due to all the flood claims over the last couple of years.

In fact the cars getting that worthless, may as well just get 3rd party..lol
