    Default Rub Strips?

Just wondering if the bump strips on the doors can be removed without leaving any holes or what not?

Not sure about the preface lift but i had one replaced on my facelift and as ditchp says they are stuck on plus there are two plastic locating clips on the strip which push fit into predrilled holes in door skin, these clips help to align front and back strips up.

surely removing them will make the door sound tinny whilst shutting them and with music. unless you put dynamatt inside the door skin

Pre-face is the same i.e. same holes that would need to be filled/dealt with if strips removed.

I dont know why you would want to take them off, if its for the bmw look i dont think it works on he vec, the rub strips suit it too wll and also with the shaped indicators. i think your best colour coding the side repeaters then it looks like its meant to be one solid line accross the side
