Power Tail Gate

Does anybody know if the power tail gate on the estates can be retro fitted?

It looks really cool, anybody got one? Is it worth it?

Im thinking the key fob button may be the expensive part

Dont think any have retro fitted it yet.. but been up before.. think andy.l is the man for such a job

Shouldn't think so. The motors are in the rear panels. Had to have mine replaced last year tool them a few hours just to swap the motors yet alone installing new harness'.

Got it on my estate and it's a great gadget, got it initially because I used to run a mobile disco and it made life a lot easier when walking out carrying a sodding great speaker cab to just push a button on the remote and the boot opens. It does look cool in a car park too.

If anyone needs any pics of bits I'm more than happy to pull panels out to show cabling or connections/mounting points for anything if needed.
