Heater Control Panel Removal

Hi
Does anyone know how to remove the heater control panel as I have bought a Brodit phone braket and it clips behind the back of the left hand side of the heater control panel. I have had a little fiddle and tried prizing the unit out but no joy.

I pulled out the ashtray, then the letterbox thingy pulls out, then the heater control pulls out "hold it underneath"

So there is no screws to deal with then. I am a bit heavy handed at times so I didnt pull to hard earlier incase I got the dreaded CRACK

Heater control panel, is held in by sprung clips, if you take time and gradually prise out each side you should get it without removing radio, if radio is removed it makes the job easier.....

If you remove it from the bottom like i suggested it eliminates the risk of damaging the dash with the screwdriver

You have not seen the size of mine and Andy fat finger's the can corse a lot of damage
