I hope this isn't breaking any site rules, but I just thought I'd try my luck and spam this over here and hopefully it'll be allowed.
Some of you may already be aware, I run a small charitable group made up of amateur musicians and music production engineers (details in my signature). Everyone gives their time, effort and considerable skills for nothing and all expenses are paid for by the members of the group directly.
We're raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation, a fantastic charity that grants wishes for dying children. Each wish costs the charity approximately £3000 and our target is to pay for one whole wish. To do this we write and record original music, involving kids as much as we can (many of our tracks have lyrics written by kids) and this latest one has kids singing in it, and then we sell it on our website.
Now normally, I wouldn't spam the forums with this, I have it subtley sitting in my signature and that's enough, but this one's a bit special and I'm really trying to push it everywhere I can.
We've recorded a Xmas song and we think it's a corker, we're even hoping to get it played on radio if we can.
With ten different vocalists including two kids (aged 4 & 5), ten guitar tracks, 5 bass tracks, xmas bells a plenty, timpani drums and a near full orchestra track at the end, this is by FAR the most complicated and involved track we've ever taken on and in the shortest time too. Throw in a huge dollop of humour and take a crack at how crap Xmas can be and you're beginning to get the idea.
So, a simple request. Got a spare 99p kicking around? Let's face it that's less than a litre of petrol costs, everyone should have (I've even bought it myself even though I mixed and produced it).
We would love you to buy this track and help this amazing cause. A lot of hard work and effort has gone into it and we believe it's worth 99p of anyone's money.

Thanks in advance to anyone who does buy this track, you're wonderful people and are helping an amazing charity.
There are also demos and a few free downloads of our other songs on the main website if anyone's interested and you can of course buy others too if you want to, it ALL goes to the charity.
Thanks guys, apolgies again for the blatancy of this thread.
