Anyone got it, whats your first impressions ?

got it yesterday, jumped straight into multiplayer and liked it, the maps are huge although the artillery strikes are a pain as it concusses you and kicks up a lot of dust/smoke so you cant see much
played single player and found the storyline quite good, and played a bit of co op which i loved, starting to get into it now, just a shame most people run about with smg's because they cant use a single shot rifle

mmmmmmm, keep Gears of War 2 (which I have completed in about 10 mins) or swap it for COD5?......

cod5 is just the same as cod4 just dirent guns ,maps and perks
its stil the same buttons n stuf
its realy cod4 with a difrent mask lol
and i think there a new game mode with zombies
so i think it with be ithere just as good orr even better thin cod4
go on to youtube and see game play vids to see what i mean

i've read the review of COD5 and to be honest it put me off a little...

The main point they made was graphical it suffers because they have tried to fit too much into the scenes (i.e. big gun fights has too much going on so graphics aren't as spot on as COD4) - can anybody comment?

Also, whats longevity like? I loved COD4 but thought it was too short to be honest - excellent game when playing, just not enough playing


The last thing i want is to get a sequel that is inferior... if i wanted that i would watch Terminator 3!

The cronic lag (even on local setting) and juggernoobs will only get to you again mate as they did (for you and me both) in cod4...

I'm doing the single player on cod5, then i'll do multiplayer mainly on cod4 as although the lag is crap (but maybe better if most people are on cod5!!) i find it a better game, still cannot work out how or why you would die instantly from only 1 bite from a dog!!

strange, i have found hardly any lag at all when playing online, and there is a game mode unlocked after you complete the solo game which puts you up against zombies
played the left 4 dead demo and hated it, looks ok but getting a headshot at 100 yards with an uzi or shotgun

Yeah i downloaded the demo for left fo dead and wasn't impressed, i read somehwere its one of the most anticipated games about? never heard of it until a few days ago though..
downloaded the zombie game vid on market place.. look slike fun, its multiplayer aswell so should be a laugh..
