I just made a hole in a chassis rail!!!

Jacking the car up on my trolley jack and didn't notice a split pin missing out of the jack. Jack collapsed and dropped the car on a corner of the jack, punching a hole in one of the box sections under the car......

..... after a swift change of underwear the damage doesn't look too bad, a quick coat of underbody wax to protect it but its left one hell of a dent in the underside.

Now i believe my old man when he kept harping on about using axle stands

Luckily I still had 2 bolts in the wheel.... another 30 seconds and I'd have been looking at getting new brake disks!!!!!!
