    Default Am i a Bad Dad ?????

I was washing the car earlier, and my 4yr old Son was playing out the front with me on his bike......He's new to this bike lark minus the stabalisers so is a little wobbly.

So this is what happened...He got a little over zealous on the speed front, and knowing what I'm like with the motor, swerved and stacked it....Result Grazed Hands and bleeding Knees...The only thing i had to hand was a " Sonus Waffle Weave" drying towel, he just looked at me covered in blood and crying as if to say "WELL!!! "

There was no way the Sonus towel was getting covered in Blood so he ran in to his Mum...

    Am i Bad Dad???????

P.s He's fine now, nothing a cake and a kiss and cuddle from mummy couldn't sort

No you are not a bad dad but I would have used the best drying towel I had if need be, then carry him in to his mom, She would think the world of me for using my best drying towel on him knowing how much I cerish my car and "things" and he would have thought me to be his hero............. words of wisdom, I have been there, it can be trying some times I can tell you.

Ah that's not good. Hope the delay in drying whilst deciding what to do didn't leave unsightly water marks.

Well done and quick thinking for not getting in a panic - the drying towel may have introduced nasty germs etc etc... you are a good dad for taking him to his mum to let his wounds be treated in a nice clean area. Has he recovered enough to help with the polish?
