New Vectra??

When Vectra brought out the 'C', i and others thought that the name should've been altered to relieve some of that stigma of the old Vectra...what do you guys think???

I think this thread could be dedicated to names for the next Vectra 'D' to be renamed...

(I know lots of people had B's and say they were great, I dont know what they were like, but other people give me such stick when i say i have a Vectra....and i cry easily)

same goes for all cars though mate. if someone said to you 'ive got a mondeo' you start to snigger, even though they are actually very very capable cars. I think the only cars that seem to escape this is japanese cars, ie, when someone says 'ive got a mazda 6' or ' mines a honda accord' it doesnt sound as rep'ish' as vectra or mondeo.
French cars just get 'oh right... french ****...wouldnt touch one of those' and german cars get 'bl**dy snob..whats so good about a passat?'

In a way its a hidden flattery as it shows how much vauxhall and ford have obliterated the market for fleet cars.

Whats got me, is why they allowed three non 'a' ending cars to the current range - now down to only one - the Signum, Monaro and the VX.

Vx did some under a bit of stick for this (not renaming the Vectra when the C came out). I can understand as it does have the 'stigma' of a repmobile, like the Mondeo.

New Mondeo (couple of years yet) is called Iosis, and as i duck behind my sofa, i have to admit - its gorgeous...

i was under the impression that is what it is going to be called, but like everything else, i'd assume it'll change back to Mundane-o
