    Thumbs up Irmscher i500 update

I have just had word back from Steve reeves at irmscher uk regarding the irmscher i500 as i asked when this kit was due.

well unfortunately the sidesills didnt make it past the prototype stage and the i500 grilles are only avalable on factory fitted german models however....

The front airdam WILL be avalable from january at a whopping cost of £902+ vat
This will fit all pre facelift models and i'm told if you order before 31 december you will save the 20% around £180

But it is a very cool bumper. I can think of at least two members on here who'll be fighting over them.

I change my car every 2/3 years, so I wouldn't be able to justify that expense just for a couple of years. I know I would be able to remove it and sell it, but you'd get nowhere near what you paid. Too much IMO

    i'm swaying.
    downsides
    - way way too much cash for a bumper
    - would need at least 19's as it would make anything smaller look tiny
    - without the chunky sideskirts would look a bit out of proportion maybe
    - too low for some roads i would use

    Upsides
    -Its SMART as foook!!

    What he just said!!

Me like a lot, and it would look the dogs danglies on mine, especially being lowered. But how ****in much!!!!! Even with the 20% discount, once you add the VAT it's almost £850!! Ouch, ouch, ouch - waaay to expensive for a front bumper! Shame.

I am tempted tp take off my Steinmetz front !!!! If it was just a couple of hundred quid cheaper, 600 notes would be fair ... Re the sideskirts, you could pair it with steinmetz ones ...

"factory fitted german models" ... Does that mean it went into production, or just the kit as an option ??
