    Default funny vibration when driving

hi I'm New To The Forum And Have Recently Bought A 2002 52 Plate Vectra 2.2 Sri.
i Have A Problem With It And I'm Hoping Some One Can Help.
whilst Driveing The Car I Get A Viberation Coming From Either The Engine Or The Gearbox. I Had It Checked By Severa Mechanics And They Told Me Its Either The Spark Plugs Or The Coil Pack, So I Had The Car Serviced Using All Genuine Dealer Parts And The Problem Is Still There.
it Feels Like A Missfire But Don't Think It Is. It Some Times Goes Away And The Car Drives And Pulls Really Well, But Soon Comes Back.
could Any Body Help With My Problem Or Has Any 1 Had A Similar Problem?
    thanks,zed.

your pm box is full mate so here is the pm i would have sent you ....

does the vibration change or go away when you press the clutch pedal all the way down .?
if so could be the flywheel .if it is still there maybe a enigne misfire if you have changed the plugs and the dis pack chances are you have a problem with the chain on the engine but i would advise looking at the flywheel first as this is a common problem on the vec c model and they dont seem to suffer with the chain problem as in the early cars (vec b) a good thing is to have a walk around the back of some dealers and talk to the mechanics direct and offer them the job on the side to have a look or replace any parts this maybe youronly way to get a good bloke and the job done cheap hope this helps benny

    BENNY, THANKS FOR THE REPLY.
THE VIBERATION IS STILL THERE WHEN THE CLUTCH IS PRESSED.
SOME TIMES THE VIBERATION GOES AWAY BUT SOON RETURNS.
ALSO WHEN THE CAR IS STATIONARY IT IDLES.
THE REV NEEDLE DOES'NT MOVE UP OR DOWN.
TOOK IT TO PUT IT ON A FAULT FINDER COMPUTER AND IT SHOWED TWO FAULTS,P1523: THROTTLE CONTROL CIRCUIT MALLFUNCTION AND P0202: INJECTOR CYLINDER MALLFUNCTION.
THE CODES WERE ERASED BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD TO BRING IT BACK IN TO HAVE IT RE CHECKED ON MONDAY.
THE VIBERATION IS MAINLY BETWEEN 1500-2000 RPM.

the injector code makes me think that one of the injectors is failing.. you would be well advised to get them checked out, as well as their wiring..

    thanks for the advice mark.
checked all the injectors and the wiring and they all seem to be working fine.
have taken it to loads of different garages but can't find the fault.
when the clutch is pressed and car is reved the viberation is still there.

Did you sort the problem? My 2.2 Sri has started doing the same after making a lot of noise when starting. The garage has run diags but says everything looks fine. They think the timing chain may have jumped some teeth on the balance shafts when the engine started and made the original noise. Performance seems ok. Looking at other threads the dual mass flywheel seems to cause vibration right through the rev range when that becomes faulty.

Think it turned out to be his flywheel.
