    Default hmmm......b.u.g.g.e.r !!!!!

    well ,
i thought,..... they would look nice in my signum, so i bid for and won a set on vectra c dash switches , namley the two heated seat switches and the traction control switch along wiv the alarm and boot opening switch, so i was a happy bunny ,

however, when they turned up they were a different colour to my existing ones ( mine are the titanium finish and the new ones were the dark grey soft touch finish ),

not to worry me thinks , i will change em all, as i have em all ,

now i know i dont have the blue plug for traction control over-ride fitted, but if there is one thing i have to do away with in my cars is blanks, you know the ones, they say you aint fully tricked out with all the toyz ,

anyway, i come to fit the heated seat switches, which are wired , and b.u.g.g.e.r me , the actual switch terminals in the back are completly different, i dont just mean in a different pattern, but not even remotly the same type as the switch, this can be seen below

so, i now have a full set of useless ( to me anyway ) switches available, lol

    BB

Looking at the back of that switch, if I didn't know better I'd say it came out of a Vec B not a Vec C !
I thought all the C's dash switches were canbus style ones, the back of that switch looks like a conventional 12V style switch ?
Very strange, oh and bad luck m8.

I think I know which set you've bought mate... I had them in my watch list.... they were listed as Omega/Vectra-C..... so they are probably all from an omega.

Well, that would explain why they are not canbus style switches, I'd be tempted to contact the seller and see what he says. Switches from an Omega are never gona fit a Vec C.
