    Default child seats

I've currently got two puntos (mk1) and I'll soon be gettign a vectra estate. my problem is my son has virtually grown out of his baby seat so we need to get him the next one up. as I am going to have to wait at least a month before I can get the vectra I need to get one that will also fit the punto. if you have a seat that is suitable for a 9month old can you tell me the make. means I can see which ones are suitable for the punto to.

    Thanks

    Ross

we had a prob fitting our chair in both our corsa and the vec. the angle of the vec seat was too steep so the chair would slide at the top. tried it in the centre possition and it worked great. rang child safety people and they said that putting it in the middle is the best place due to side impact.
you could also try mothercare as they will put your chair model and cars in a comp and will give you all your answers. although they did not show that you could use the middle seat.

ps we have a britax rennaisance and its a great seat

the mother in law bought us a britax newborn seat for our impending littl'un, which did the same thing, wouldnt sit right in the back seats, so we bought the vx one for £90 which fits perfect (this is also a britax)

We ended up buying one from Mama's & Papa's for our daughter - it wasn't cheap (£120 in the sale!) but its the best baby seat i've come across.
It has all sorts of functions.. recline, headrest etc.
The only thing we had a problem with when installing it was that we had to take off one of the headrests as it is quite tall.

As soon as i get a second I will take a pic and find out the make and model.

    HTH

    Chris.
