Frankfurt Motorshow pics

I just got back from two amazing days at the Frankfurt Motorshow. I though you guys might be interested in a few relevant pics i.e. VXR/OPC Vectra and Irmscher goodies. No sign of the i500 on the Irmscher stand but their new Astra Coupe was awesome. Enjoy

Looks like you've had a great time Dave. And some really fantastic pics there mate. Still not sure about the facelift, but im sure it will grow on me.Whats it like in the flesh??

I think the facelift looks great on the VXR but not so sure on some of the lesser specs. I guess we'll get used to it as you said Abyss

The VXR interior was particularly nice with a smaller diameter thick wheel with soft-touch leather - v nice, really good to hold. The carbon-fibre door trims also looked the part with the leather interior.

The VXR instruments look a bit cheap IMO, look's like Vauxhall copied Skoda with the VXR instrument graphics. Everyone seems to be at it, check out this pic of the facelifted Fiesta instruments :-

It's good to see someone has copied my idea of having GTS on the back of the car and OPC on the two sides. I hate being right all the time.

Looking at the Astra VXR in Arden Blue is making me like that car more than the Vec VXR. I may be changing my order very soon.

Nice one Dave - some excellent pics there. That HP Photosmart is pretty good quality!

Still not sure about the facelift front - but I like the look of that Irmscher Astra!

Cheers Duncan, it's an HP R707 5.1Mp - £149 and probably cheaper now as it's just been replaced. I've got a pile of pictures from all the other stands. If I get the time, I'll post a selection (if there's any interest).

Nice pics Dave, really like the look of that colour blue in the first few pictures, have we found a replacement for ultra blue perhaps??

I'm not really sure if I like the new front, I think it looks a bit too much like the astra now, I like the dash upgrades though.
