    Default MOT Advisories

So I went to do a job for somebody today, on the phone they list the advisories from their recent MOT,

    front brakes pads wearing thin

    o/s brake pipe corroded

Obv 2 quite safety critical points

Now being as this person was worried about her brakes failing she called me to replace/repair, so I get there and the front brake pads are about .5mm off bring brand new so I checked the rears incase they'd got their forward and rear mixed up, same sketch as fronts.

Checked brake pipes n/s and o/s and apart from a little road salt they are as good as new.

Just goes to show doesn't it, some garages just can't be honest and pray on the less knowledgeable to get an easy quid.

Luckily this lady is a skinflint and begrudges garage prices!
