2.2 dti, pain in the @+&$ , difficult to get to the downpipe nuts, wont budge and sheered 2 now. even had an impact wrench on it. whats best, nut splitter, twist socket or drill out the studs and use a nut and bolt system after

the problem with exhaust bolts is they live their life getting extremely hot then cooling an so the cycle goes on.

so after a few years they practically weld themselves on

getting the nut to glowing hot Is best way

as above, heat is really the only method to avoid snapping
