    Default Abs light

    Ours has come on and stayed on since Saturday.
    Had it checked out and seems its the o/s/f has an open circuit?
    Had it reset but warning light still stays on
    Anyone have any ideas hw to fix /cure it pls?

    Could be dirt getting into one of the sensors. check your tyre pressure first though

    Has it been physically checked?

    not uncommon for sensor to fail

    Also not uncommon for the wiring under the wheelarch to corode over a period of years and finally giving up the Ghost. A good auto electrician should diagnose within a half hour or check the resistance of the cables yourself if you can. I had one cable last year which was going high ohms. Replaced it and been fine since (£40 tops). In my experience, this never usually turns out to be an expensive failure.
