Stereo time

Time has come to get rid of the cd30 in the vec as it seems to have a mind of its own and the sound quality is not the greatest, i have a single din sony xplod in my mk3 astra which is being stripped for track use and want to put this in the vec as it is a great little stereo plus on a budget,would this be hard to do or would i be better getting a different stereo like a double din or would it not matter.

As long as you get single din fitting kit not a problem
