Meguires plastx headlight refurb
Craig, there are guys on here that think this is a "breeze", I've tried the "repair kits" and got nowhere.
I guess it's like "taxiing" and "the knowledge", you either have it, or you don't, OR you have a mate that does LOL. I'm still looking for a mate to sort mine out![]()
thanks for the help guys, have everything apart from Meguires plastx headlight refurb, will take a trip to halfords, will post some pics up of the results when done.

Any cutting compound will work, best to wet & dry the headlights first (wet with a drop of washing up liquid), I usually start with around 600, then 800, then 1200 followed by the cutting compound on a machine, I have an old pot of G3 which works great! Usually no longer than 30 minutes to do a pair of lights.
I opted to buy the 3m drill kit but in my opinion it doesnt come with enough sanding disks! one of my headlights is good the other has the yellow gone but has some scratches till. Ive just picked up sanding paper and rubbing compound to re do it soon.
Sandpaper and and a rotary! I always start with 800 grit, change to 1000, then 1500, then 2000 and to finish the rotary with 3m fast cut. Like brand new everytime , like everything the more you put in the better the result.
