Default Z20net Vacuum pump leaking oil

Hi guys had car jacked up today and noticed oil on the bottom of my gearbox upon inspection it appears that it is coming from my vacuum pump on the side of the engine i think the gasket might have failed would this be the case or does this generally mean i need a new one.

Try the rubber gasket first, it's easy to change.

Fairly easy, and there won't be much oil. You have to remove the electronic module that's bolted to the front of the vacuum pump, then unbolt the pump itself, fit the new gasket and reassemble.
