Angry Changing rear light bulbs on Signum.. FFS!

Whoever at vauxhall designed the light clusters needs to be shot.

For a start, the bulbs on the front are a pig to get to and you need hands like Jeremy ****** Beadle (even if you remove the airbox)... unless of course you decide to remove the lights completely.

I tried to remove the rear light clusters of the signum yesterday to replace the indicator bulbs with silver techs....
I removed the white thumb nuts and only managed to loosen the cluster but I couldn't get the damn thing off. Wiggled and jigged it every which way, I could but it just wouldnt budge. Same story on the other side. I even RTFM (read the fcu king manual) and still no luck.

I eventually gave up, put everything back and went in for a sulk!

    Rant over!

Once the 3 thumb nuts are off there is nothing to hold them in place , I take it that you did remove all 3

Sounds like the bulb holders haven't been removed to me from the light cluster

Not sure about that... They were moving around a far bit.. It just seemed the needed a bit more of a 'yank' to get them out but in all honesty I was probably afraid of breaking them.
The NSR unit is misting up/letting water in, it probably does need sealing!
